Engineered by Wippermann, the unique Connex Link locking system for a chain joining link has been proven over and over.

The Connex Link is especially useful for enabling regular chain cleaning and lubrication operations, as well as gear system maintenance and repairs when out riding.
Connex Link QRs are supplied as standard with all Connex Derailleur chains and are available in 12, 11, 10, 9 and 8-speed versions.

Expensive, but works
"I've used Wippermann links for years, they make sense if you take your chain off for maintenance. The 12 speed version works the same, it goes on and off easily by hand, and works just like a normal link. I got black to make it easier to spot on my silver chain, but the black anodising started to come off after it's first heated diluted degreaser bath."
Reusable but a bit pricey
"If you like taking your chain off regularly for bike maintenance or wax dipping, it'll save you going through a few quick links, it should last you years it you transfer it to a new chain a few times."
