"I've used Wippermann links for years, they make sense if you take your chain off for maintenance. The 12 speed version works the same, it goes on and off easily by hand, and works just like a normal link. I got black to make it easier to spot on my silver chain, but the black anodising started to come off after it's first heated diluted degreaser bath."
