Warranty Items

We understand that on the odd occasion, an item may not be exactly what you was expecting. We work to try and avoid these warranty issues but in the case that you have received a warranty item, then we will try and resolve the issue as quickly as we can and get you back to enjoying your product.

Our Policy

1. Items for warranty must be genuine warranty and are not covered against general usage, wear & tear, poor maintenance or neglect. All products must be used for the intended use.

2. Warranty is not transferable and proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

3. Warranty items that have been replaced will be covered by the period equal to the remaining period of the original item.

4. All items should be fitted in strict compliance with the items instructions and fitted by a fully trained mechanic. Items fitted incorrectly will not be covered by warranty.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you feel your item is a warranty item, please email us with photos of the item to sales@bikeparts.co.uk. We will then reply with advice on how to proceed with the claim. Please give us as much information as you can. DO NOT send the item back until we have approved the initial warranty claim and have given advice on the next steps.

Each warranty claim is processed individually. Please note that the majority of warranty items will be forwarded to our supplier as they have jurisdiction of the brands.

If the supplier does not reject the warranty claim, then they may repair, replace or offer a refund. 

The supplier advice can take up to 28 working days and their advice is final. Unfortunately, we cannot speed this process up.

Successful Claims

Successful claims will either be repaired (by our supplier), replaced or refunded. Any non successful claims will either be posted back to you, or disposed of (at your request).

 

**Shimano Batteries**

Please be aware that warranty claims on all Shimano Batteries require a different process. Please DO NOT post your battery back to us. We will email you some forms that will need to be filled out with as much information as possible. This will then be forwarded to our supplier who will accept or reject the warranty claim. If the claim is accepted, then we will follow their advice on rectifying the warranty product (repair/replace/refund).
