Fit tipIf you land on the border between two sizes, go up a size; full-face cheek pads and liners can be swapped for thicker or thinner ones to fine-tune the fit.
How to measure
Wrap a soft tape around your head about 2 cm above your eyebrows and over the widest part at the back, keeping it level. Read the measurement in cm and find it in the table for the helmet model you are buying, as each 100% model has its own size bands. The helmet should feel snug all the way round with no pressure points and should not rock when you shake your head. If you land on the border between two sizes, go up a size; full-face cheek pads and liners can be swapped for thicker or thinner ones to fine-tune the fit.
Fit tipIf you are between sizes and prefer a looser feel, choose the larger size.
How to measure
Hold your hand flat with the fingers together and measure the palm height: from the crease where your palm meets your wrist up to the base of your middle finger, in cm. Use the men's, women's or youth table to match the glove you are buying. A riding glove should sit close to the skin with no spare material at the fingertips, as it will give a little with wear. If you are between sizes and prefer a looser feel, choose the larger size.
Measure your chest around the fullest part with the tape level under your arms, and your waist at the natural crease when you bend to one side. For sleeve length, measure from the bone at the base of the back of your neck, across the shoulder and down to the wrist with the arm slightly bent. Riding jerseys are cut for a close, athletic fit; casual T-shirts, hoodies and fleeces sit more relaxed. If your chest and height point to different sizes, go with the chest measurement.

Fit tipIf you are between sizes on trail shorts and pants, size up for room over knee pads.
How to measure
Measure your waist where your trousers normally sit, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight. For the inseam, stand straight and measure from the top of your inner thigh down to the ankle bone. Women should also measure the hip around the fullest part with feet together. Riding pants sold by waist size in inches follow the same waist bands: 30 inch is roughly 76 cm, 32 inch 81 cm, 34 inch 86 cm. If you are between sizes on trail shorts and pants, size up for room over knee pads.

Fit tipGuards need to be tight enough not to slip during a ride, so if you are between sizes choose the smaller one unless you will wear them over clothing.
How to measure
For knee guards, measure around your thigh 14 cm above the centre of the kneecap and around your calf 14 cm below it. For elbow guards, measure around the bicep 14 cm above the point of the elbow and the forearm 14 cm below it. Keep the tape snug and the leg or arm slightly bent. Guards need to be tight enough not to slip during a ride, so if you are between sizes choose the smaller one unless you will wear them over clothing.
Fit tipIf your shoe size is on the boundary between the two sizes, go up to L/XL for a longer foot and S/M for a narrower one.
How to measure
Match your usual shoe size to the row that contains it. Socks should fit snugly over the heel and arch without bunching at the toe. If your shoe size is on the boundary between the two sizes, go up to L/XL for a longer foot and S/M for a narrower one.
Fit tipChoose the larger size if you want room to grow.
How to measure
Measure the child's chest around the fullest part, the waist at the natural bend and the hips around the widest point with feet together. Height is measured standing against a wall without shoes. Age is only a rough guide; if the child's measurements fall across two sizes, go with chest for jerseys and waist for pants. Choose the larger size if you want room to grow.
Fit tipAlé gloves are cut to fit snugly, so match your measurement to the table rather than sizing up for comfort; if you fall between two rows, take the larger size only for thicker winter gloves.
How to measure
Wrap a tape around your palm just below the knuckles, leaving out the thumb, and read the figure in cm. Alé gloves are cut to fit snugly, so match your measurement to the table rather than sizing up for comfort; if you fall between two rows, take the larger size only for thicker winter gloves.

Fit tipAlé jerseys are Italian race cut and sit tight to the body; if you are at the upper end of a row, or between two sizes, go up one size for a more relaxed fit.
How to measure
Measure your chest at its widest point with your arms down, your waist at the narrowest part of your torso and your hips around the fullest part. Each figure in the table is the body measurement the size is built for, so pick the row that matches your chest first and check height second. Alé jerseys are Italian race cut and sit tight to the body; if you are at the upper end of a row, or between two sizes, go up one size for a more relaxed fit. Jackets and thermal tops follow the same sizing and are cut to go over a jersey.

Fit tipIf you are between sizes or at the top of a row, go up a size, especially for bib tights worn over a base layer.
How to measure
Measure your waist at its narrowest point and your hips around the widest part of your seat, with the tape level. Leg length is measured from the crotch down to the ankle; inside leg here is the manufacturer's short inseam measured from the crotch, which tells you how far down the thigh the short will finish. Use hips as the deciding measurement, because bib shorts need to be close-fitting to keep the pad in place. If you are between sizes or at the top of a row, go up a size, especially for bib tights worn over a base layer.
Fit tipIf you are at the top of a range and have a wide foot or high instep, move up to the next size for a more comfortable cuff.
How to measure
Choose the row that includes your EU shoe size. If you are at the top of a range and have a wide foot or high instep, move up to the next size for a more comfortable cuff.

Fit tipMeasure in cm and go by chest first; riding jerseys are cut close, so if you are between sizes or want room for body armour underneath, take the larger size.
How to measure
Chest: wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits, keeping it level. Bust (women's): around the fullest part of the bust. Waist: around your natural waistline, level with the navel. Hip: around the fullest part of the hips, roughly 20 cm below the waist. Outer arm: from the point of the shoulder down to the wrist. Height: stand against a wall without shoes. Fit tipIf one measurement falls in a bigger size than the other, go with the larger size so the pad sits without pinching; it should stay in place when you bend the joint.
How to measure
Knee protectors: measure around your thigh 10 cm above the kneecap, then around your calf at its widest point. Elbow protectors: bend your arm to 90 degrees and measure around your upper arm and forearm at their widest points. Compare with the table and choose the size that contains both measurements. If one measurement falls in a bigger size than the other, go with the larger size so the pad sits without pinching; it should stay in place when you bend the joint.

How to measure
Measure hand length from the crease of your wrist on the palm side to the tip of your middle finger. Measure hand circumference around the knuckles of your four fingers, not including the thumb, with the hand open. If the two measurements give different sizes, go with circumference for a snug glove and length for a mitt. Gloves should fit closely with no loose fabric at the fingertips.

Fit tipAltura jerseys and jackets are cut for a regular riding fit; if you are between sizes or plan to layer underneath, choose the larger size.
How to measure
Measure your chest around the fullest part with the tape high under the arms and level across your back. Measure your waist at the narrowest point, which you can find by bending to one side, and your hips around the fullest part with your feet together. These are body measurements, not garment measurements, so compare them directly with the table. Fit tipIf you are between sizes on padded shorts, go down a size for a secure fit and up a size for trousers.
How to measure
Measure your waist at the narrowest point, keeping the tape level, and your hips around the fullest part with your feet together. For bib shorts and tights the chest measurement matters too, as the bib straps need to sit comfortably over the shoulders. Lycra shorts and tights should feel snug so the pad stays in place; baggy trail shorts and trousers are looser and can be chosen by waist alone. If you are between sizes on padded shorts, go down a size for a secure fit and up a size for trousers.
Fit tipIf you are right on the boundary, choose the smaller size for a tighter sock or the larger for a roomier one.
How to measure
Find your usual shoe size in the UK or EU column and take the matching sock size. Cycling socks should hold snugly around the arch and heel without pulling at the toe. If you are right on the boundary, choose the smaller size for a tighter sock or the larger for a roomier one.

Fit tipThe table is based on a close-fitting cycling shoe; if you ride in bulkier flat-pedal or winter shoes, or you are on the top edge of a size band, go up a size.
How to measure
Use the size of the cycling shoe you will wear under the overshoe, not your everyday shoe size. The table is based on a close-fitting cycling shoe; if you ride in bulkier flat-pedal or winter shoes, or you are on the top edge of a size band, go up a size. Overshoes should be a snug fit so they do not flap or catch on the crank.
Fit tipIf the child is between sizes or you want room to grow, choose the larger size.
How to measure
Measure the child's chest around the fullest part, waist at the narrowest point and hips around the widest part with feet together. The age ranges are a guide only; the measurements in the table are what matter. If the child is between sizes or you want room to grow, choose the larger size.
Fit tipIf you are right on the border between two sizes, go up a size and use the fit dial to take up the slack.
How to measure
Use a soft tape measure, or a piece of string and a ruler. Wrap it around your head about 2.5 cm above your eyebrows, keeping it level and snug but not tight, and measure twice, using the larger reading. Find the table for your helmet type and pick the row your measurement falls into. If you are right on the border between two sizes, go up a size and use the fit dial to take up the slack. Full-face helmets should feel firm around the cheeks when new, as the pads bed in.

Fit tipIf you fall between two lengths, or ride in thick winter socks, take the next size up.
How to measure
Put a sheet of paper against a wall, stand on it with your heel touching the wall and mark where your longest toe ends. Measure wall to mark in mm, repeat on the other foot and use the bigger number. Match it to the foot length column and order the EU size on that row. If you fall between two lengths, or ride in thick winter socks, take the next size up. Flat-pedal shoes can be worn slightly roomier than clipless shoes, which should hold the heel snugly.
Fit tipWaterproof gloves have a membrane layer inside, so if you are between sizes take the larger one for easier movement.
How to measure
Palm circumference: with your hand flat and relaxed, wrap the tape around the widest part of the palm just below the knuckles, not including the thumb. Finger length: measure your middle finger from the base, where it meets the palm, to the tip. Compare both figures in cm with the table. Waterproof gloves have a membrane layer inside, so if you are between sizes take the larger one for easier movement.
Fit tipIf you fall between two sizes, or your shoes are a snug fit, take the larger size so the sock does not pull at the toe or heel.
How to measure
Go by your usual shoe size, or stand on a sheet of paper and measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe in mm and compare with the foot length column. If you fall between two sizes, or your shoes are a snug fit, take the larger size so the sock does not pull at the toe or heel.

Fit tipFist gloves are thin and stretchy and are meant to fit snugly without being tight; if you are between two sizes, go up if you prefer a relaxed feel and down if you want the glove to sit like a second skin.
How to measure
Lay your hand flat, palm down, and measure straight across the middle of the palm from edge to edge, just below the knuckles and not including the thumb. Compare the figure in cm with the table and choose the closest size. Fist gloves are thin and stretchy and are meant to fit snugly without being tight; if you are between two sizes, go up if you prefer a relaxed feel and down if you want the glove to sit like a second skin.
Fit tipIf you measure between two lengths or like a little extra room for thick socks, go up to the next size.
How to measure
Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark in mm. Do both feet and use the longer one. Find that length in the table and take the EU size shown; Fizik shoes are sized in EU, so this is the number to order. If you measure between two lengths or like a little extra room for thick socks, go up to the next size. Road shoes should hold the heel firmly with the toes just clear of the end.
Fit tipFox tops are cut for an athletic riding position; if you sit between two sizes and prefer a relaxed fit, or plan to layer underneath, go up a size.
How to measure
Measure your chest around the fullest part, under the arms, with the tape level and snug but not tight. For the women's table also take your waist at the narrowest point and your hips around the widest point. Height is measured barefoot against a wall. Fox tops are cut for an athletic riding position; if you sit between two sizes and prefer a relaxed fit, or plan to layer underneath, go up a size.

Fit tipIf you wear knee pads under your shorts, consider the next size up for room over the thigh.
How to measure
Measure your waist where you would normally wear the shorts, keeping the tape level and relaxed. Take your hips around the fullest part of your seat, and your thigh around the widest part of the upper leg. Men's Fox shorts are sized by waist in inches (28 to 40); pick the row whose waist range contains your measurement. If you wear knee pads under your shorts, consider the next size up for room over the thigh.
Fit tipIf the child is close to the top of a range, choose the next size up so there is room to grow.
How to measure
Measure the child's height barefoot against a wall, and the chest around the fullest part with the tape level. Age is only a rough guide; go by height and chest where they differ. If the child is close to the top of a range, choose the next size up so there is room to grow.

How to measure
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head about 2 cm above your eyebrows and just above your ears, keeping it level front to back, and read off the circumference in cm. Giro sizes run in 4 cm steps that meet rather than overlap, so a reading of exactly 55 cm fits the top of a Small or the bottom of a Medium; most riders prefer the smaller of the two on a dial-adjust helmet. Universal-fit models cover a wider band with a single shell and rely on the adjuster for the final fit.
Hand width: wrap the tape around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles, with your hand lightly closed. Hand length: measure from the base of your palm at the wrist crease to the tip of your middle finger. Compare both in mm and go by whichever is larger. Cycling gloves should feel close-fitting with no spare material at the fingertips, as the palm stretches a little in use.
Fit tipBib shorts are cut to fit close to the body, so if you are between sizes and prefer a slightly less compressive feel, go up one.
How to measure
Waist: wrap the tape around your natural waistline, roughly level with your navel. Hip: measure around the widest part of your hips and seat. Compare both in cm and size by the larger of the two. Bib shorts are cut to fit close to the body, so if you are between sizes and prefer a slightly less compressive feel, go up one.
Fit tipCycling shoes should hold the heel firmly with a little room in front of the toes; if you usually sit between two EU sizes, or have a wider foot, go up a half size.
How to measure
Giro shoes are sold in EU sizes, so start from the EU size you normally wear in cycling shoes and use the table to cross-check against US sizing. Cycling shoes should hold the heel firmly with a little room in front of the toes; if you usually sit between two EU sizes, or have a wider foot, go up a half size.
Fit tipWhere two adjacent sizes share a boundary figure, choose the smaller size on an open helmet with a dial adjuster and the larger size on a full-face.
How to measure
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head from the middle of your forehead, keeping it level about 1.5 cm above your ears, which is the widest part of the head, and read off the circumference in cm. Kali sizes each model differently, so find the table for the model you are buying and pick the row your measurement falls into. Where two adjacent sizes share a boundary figure, choose the smaller size on an open helmet with a dial adjuster and the larger size on a full-face.
Fit tipCompare in mm and pick the size closest to your measurement; if you are between two, go up for a relaxed fit or down for a snug race fit, remembering that the palm loosens slightly with use.

Fit tipGuards should feel firm and stay in place when you bend the joint; if you are between sizes go down for a secure fit.
How to measure
Knee guards: measure around your thigh about three fingers' width above the kneecap. Elbow guards: measure around your arm about three fingers' width above or below the elbow joint. Compare in cm and pick the row your measurement falls into. Guards should feel firm and stay in place when you bend the joint; if you are between sizes go down for a secure fit.
Fit tipThe helmet should sit level, about two fingers above the eyebrows, and not move when your child shakes their head; do not size up for growing room.
How to measure
Wrap a soft tape measure around your child's head from the middle of the forehead, level and about 1.5 cm above the ears, and read off the circumference in cm. Find the table for the model and pick the row the measurement sits in. The helmet should sit level, about two fingers above the eyebrows, and not move when your child shakes their head; do not size up for growing room.
Fit tipLazer's ranges overlap by a centimetre or so; if you sit on the boundary, go for the smaller size on an open helmet with a dial adjuster, and the larger size on a full-face.
How to measure
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head about 2 cm above your eyebrows and just above your ears, keeping it level front to back, and read off the circumference in cm. Pick the row your measurement falls into. Lazer's ranges overlap by a centimetre or so; if you sit on the boundary, go for the smaller size on an open helmet with a dial adjuster, and the larger size on a full-face. The helmet should feel snug all round with no pressure points and should not rock when you nod.
Wrap a soft tape measure around your child's head just above the eyebrows and ears, keeping it level, and read off the circumference in cm. Lazer children's helmets come in two one-size fits with a dial adjuster, so choose the band the measurement sits in and fine-tune with the dial. The helmet should sit level, two fingers above the eyebrows, and stay put when your child shakes their head.
Fit tipIf you land between two sizes, go up a size and dial the helmet in with its fit adjuster.
How to measure
Take a soft tape measure and wrap it around your head about 2 cm above your eyebrows and the tops of your ears, keeping it level all the way round. Note the measurement in cm and find it in the table. If you land between two sizes, go up a size and dial the helmet in with its fit adjuster. A helmet should sit level, snug but not tight, and not move when you shake your head.
Lay your hand flat, palm up. Measure from the crease of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger in mm and find it in the table. Riding gloves should fit close to the hand with no slack in the fingertips, as they loosen slightly with use.

Fit tipGuards should feel firm and stay in place when you bend the joint; if they slide, go down a size.
How to measure
Knee guards: measure around your thigh roughly a hand's width (10 cm) above the kneecap, and around your calf the same distance below it. Elbow guards: measure around your forearm about 10 cm below the elbow. Body protectors, tees and vests: go by your height. Neck braces: measure around the fullest part of your chest, just under the arms. Guards should feel firm and stay in place when you bend the joint; if they slide, go down a size.
Fit tipPick the row whose figures are closest to yours; if you are between two, circumference is the better guide for a snug glove.
How to measure
Measure hand circumference by wrapping the tape around the knuckles with the hand lightly clenched, thumb left out. Measure hand length from the bottom of the palm at the wrist crease to the tip of the middle finger. Pick the row whose figures are closest to yours; if you are between two, circumference is the better guide for a snug glove. Gloves should fit closely with no spare fabric at the fingertips.

Fit tipPadded shorts should feel snug so the pad does not move; trail shorts and trousers can be chosen on waist alone, and if you are between sizes go up for a relaxed fit.
How to measure
Measure your waist at the natural waistline and your hips around the widest point with feet together, keeping the tape level. For trousers, measure your inside leg from the top of the inner thigh to the ankle bone with your legs slightly apart. Bib shorts and tights need a chest measurement too so the straps sit comfortably. Fit tipLayer pants are meant to fit close to the skin, so if you are between sizes take the smaller one.
How to measure
Waist: wrap the tape around the narrowest point of your middle, where a waistband naturally sits, keeping it level. Seat or hips: around the fullest part of your hips and bottom. Inside leg: from the top of the inner thigh straight down to the floor without shoes. Measure in cm and go by waist first, then check the seat. Layer pants are meant to fit close to the skin, so if you are between sizes take the smaller one.
Fit tipCycling gloves should fit closely with no spare fabric at the fingertips; if you sit on a boundary between two sizes, take the smaller one for short-finger gloves and the larger for padded winter gloves.
How to measure
Wrap a tape around your dominant hand just below the knuckles, not including the thumb, and keep it snug but not tight. Read the figure in cm and find it in the table. Cycling gloves should fit closely with no spare fabric at the fingertips; if you sit on a boundary between two sizes, take the smaller one for short-finger gloves and the larger for padded winter gloves.

Fit tipShimano jerseys are cut close for riding, so if your chest lands between two sizes choose the larger for a relaxed fit or the smaller for a race fit.
How to measure
Measure your chest around the fullest part with the tape level under the arms, your waist at the narrowest point of your torso and your hips around the widest part. Wear only a base layer while you measure. Shimano jerseys are cut close for riding, so if your chest lands between two sizes choose the larger for a relaxed fit or the smaller for a race fit. Jackets are sized to layer over a jersey, so stick with your usual size.

Fit tipBib shorts and tights are meant to feel snug so the pad stays put; use the hips measurement as the deciding one, and only go up a size if you prefer a looser leg or you are at the top of the range on both waist and hips.
How to measure
Measure your waist at its narrowest point and your hips around the widest part of your seat, keeping the tape level. For inside leg, measure from the top of the inner thigh to the ankle bone while standing straight. Bib shorts and tights are meant to feel snug so the pad stays put; use the hips measurement as the deciding one, and only go up a size if you prefer a looser leg or you are at the top of the range on both waist and hips.
Fit tipShimano shoes are made on an EU last, so if you are between two lengths pick the larger size.
How to measure
Stand barefoot on paper with your heel against a wall and mark the end of your longest toe, then measure wall to mark in mm. Measure both feet and go by the longer one. Find that length in the first two tables and order the EU size on that row; use the UK tables if you only know your UK size. Shimano shoes are made on an EU last, so if you are between two lengths pick the larger size. Wide versions keep the same length sizing and add room across the ball of the foot.
Fit tipWhere your size sits on the boundary between two rows, take the smaller size for a close, supportive fit or the larger if you have a high instep or wide foot.
How to measure
Pick the row that contains your normal shoe size, in UK or EU. Where your size sits on the boundary between two rows, take the smaller size for a close, supportive fit or the larger if you have a high instep or wide foot.
Fit tipIf you sit on the border between two sizes, most riders are better off in the smaller size, as padding beds in with use.
How to measure
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head just above your eyebrows and ears, keeping it level, and note the circumference in cm. Find the table for the helmet model you are buying and pick the size whose range includes your measurement. A helmet should feel snug all the way round with no pressure points and should not rock when you shake your head. If you sit on the border between two sizes, most riders are better off in the smaller size, as padding beds in with use.
Hand length: lay your hand flat and measure from the base of the palm, at the wrist crease, to the tip of your middle finger. Hand width: measure straight across the widest part of your hand at the knuckles, not including the thumb. Compare both figures in cm with the table for the glove you are buying; the hand length figure matters most. Riding gloves should sit close to the skin with no spare material at the fingertips, as they loosen a little with wear.

Fit tipIf you are between sizes, go up for a looser ride fit or down for a slimmer one.
How to measure
These figures are measurements of the garment itself, not of your body. Lay a jersey or jacket that fits you well flat on a table and measure it the same way: chest straight across from side to side about 2.5 cm below the armhole; waist across about 20 cm below the armhole; front and back length from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, down to the hem; sleeve length from the centre back of the neck along the arm to the cuff; sleeve opening across the cuff. Compare those numbers with the table for the style you are buying and choose the closest match. If you are between sizes, go up for a looser ride fit or down for a slimmer one.

Fit tipSizes are numbered by nominal waist in inches; if you are between two, go up a size if you ride with knee pads.
How to measure
These are measurements of the garment, not of your body. Lay a pair of shorts or pants that fit you well flat and measure them the same way: waist straight across the top of the waistband (the table shows the flat width, except the Sprint shorts table which shows the full waist circumference); hip straight across about 10 cm above the crotch; thigh across about 2.5 cm below the crotch; leg opening across the hem; inseam from the crotch seam to the hem; outseam from the top of the waistband to the hem down the outside. Pick the size whose figures are closest to your own garment. Sizes are numbered by nominal waist in inches; if you are between two, go up a size if you ride with knee pads.

Fit tipGuards should feel firm with no gaps between pad and limb and should not slide when you bend the joint; if they do, go down a size.
How to measure
Knee guards: measure around your thigh about 10 cm above the centre of the kneecap and around your calf about 15 cm below it (for the youth Speed guards, 10 cm above and 15 cm below). Elbow guards: measure around your wrist just behind the wrist bone and around your upper arm at its narrowest point above the bicep; for the EG 5500 measure mid forearm and mid bicep. Chest protectors, vests and shirts: measure around your chest about 2.5 cm below the armpits. Protective shorts: measure around your natural waist. Guards should feel firm with no gaps between pad and limb and should not slide when you bend the joint; if they do, go down a size.

Fit tipChildren grow quickly, so if two sizes are close, take the larger one.
How to measure
These are measurements of the garment, not of the child. Lay a pair of shorts or pants that fit well flat and measure them the same way: waist straight across the top of the waistband; hip straight across about 10 cm above the crotch; thigh across about 2.5 cm below the crotch; leg opening across the hem; inseam from the crotch seam to the hem; outseam from the waistband to the hem down the outside. Choose the size whose figures are closest. Children grow quickly, so if two sizes are close, take the larger one.
Fit tipMost TSG open helmets come with two thicknesses of pads, so if you fall between sizes choose the smaller one and fit the thinner pads.
How to measure
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head, starting at the middle of your forehead and keeping it level just above your ears, and read off the circumference in cm. TSG sizes each helmet model separately, so find the table for the model you are buying and pick the row your measurement sits in. Most TSG open helmets come with two thicknesses of pads, so if you fall between sizes choose the smaller one and fit the thinner pads. Full-face helmets should grip the cheeks firmly when new.
Fit tipPads should feel firm and stay put when you bend the joint; if they slide, go down a size.
How to measure
Elbow pads: measure around your lower biceps about 10 cm above the elbow. Knee pads: measure around your thigh about 10 cm above the kneecap; for shin guards measure around the widest part of the calf. Wrist guards: measure around the widest part of your palm, not including the thumb. Back protectors: go by your height, then check torso length from the bony bump at the base of your neck down to the top of your hip bone. Pads should feel firm and stay put when you bend the joint; if they slide, go down a size.
Fit tipIf you sit on the boundary between two sizes, go up for a looser fit over the calf or down for a snugger foot.
How to measure
TSG socks are sized by your usual EU shoe size, so pick the row that contains it. If you sit on the boundary between two sizes, go up for a looser fit over the calf or down for a snugger foot.
