After the sensors have been aligned on the rim and the wheel has been checked for radial and lateral runout, the wheel must be turned over for inspection. The new sensor assembly has a practical locking mechanism for the measuring arms, which means that the wheel can be quickly removed from the truing stand and turned. The locking mechanism can then be released with one hand and the sensors are returned to the same starting position.
