Both hard and soft at the same time
"I have a couple of recently purchased Ergon saddles to compare this one to. Although this one would appear to be a great long distance saddle due to the "Core" part I am not so sure. The saddle has two layers with, I think, a plastic shell between. The "Core" part is compliant foam. Above this and the plastic shell/spacer is a normal foam saddle. This is a bit thin, due to the space taken up by the "Core", and so quite hard. The "Core" may be great on gravel but the saddle is basically quite hard. Not what I was looking for. I probably should have gone for the non-Core version."
