RockShox SIDLuxe Ultimate Flight Attendant: ALLIED BC40 2022+

SIDLuxe Ultimate Flight Attendant represents a major leap forward in XC rear-shock intelligence, driven by a completely reworked suite of technologies designed to maximise efficiency like never before. The newly redesigned Flight Attendant algorithm processes vastly more rider and terrain data in real time, predicting the ideal damping position before conditions change. This new logic is faster, smarter, and significantly more responsive than previous generations.

The addition of Adaptive Ride Dynamics is a major enhancement: the system now learns how you ride—your pedalling patterns, climbing habits, cornering style, and pacing—and adjusts its behaviour accordingly to maintain momentum and reduce wasted energy. The shock’s refined three-position automatic damper (Open, Pedal, Lock) now features improved blow-off characteristics for better control when you push into rough sections, and the fully cable-free AXS design integrates seamlessly into a more connected Flight Attendant ecosystem. Its ultra-light XC chassis and updated internals complete the package, delivering a shock that actively boosts race performance rather than simply reacting to the trail.
