Schwalbe Albert Gravity Pro Radial Ultra Soft TLR Folding - 29x2.50 - Black Folding

The Schwalbe Albert is the jack of all trades among our trail and enduro tyres. Whether in competition or on a tour with your mates, on hardpack trails or soft paths, it consistently delivers the grip you need in every terrain and gives you the confidence to try new things. Also suitable for e-MTBs!

The Schwalbe Albert is the tyre that started the radial revolution. As the first MTB tyre, Schwalbe built around a radial carcass, it represents a fundamental rethinking of how a mountain bike tyre should work. The carcass threads are woven at a shallower angle than a conventional design, allowing the tyre to conform more precisely to the trail surface at specific points of contact. The result is a larger contact patch, better knob support, and a tread and carcass that work together as a single unit - delivering more grip, more damping and more safety in every condition.

Gravity Pro

For full focus on gravity and maximum stability, GRAVITY PRO is exactly the right choice. With the latest technologies for maximum performance and classic carcass construction: the right choice when minimal rolling resistance and maximum puncture protection are the focus and you want to forgo the advantages of radial.

Radial Carcass

The carcass material overlaps for a shorter time and with less tension. As a result, the tyre deforms more selectively and can react much more flexibly and adaptably to unevenness without sacrificing the safety factor. The tyre absorbs impact much better and uses the suspension travel more effectively. It literally sucks itself into the ground, this applies to both mountain bikes and E-MTBs. Plus radial tyres offer approximately 30% more contact area than conventional tyres at the same air pressure.

ADDIX Ultra Soft

For hardcore use in enduro and downhill. Sensationally good damping has been further improved over the previous VertStar compound, while at the same time ADDIX Ultrasoft is suitable for all-weather use due to significantly improved low-temperature properties when it comes to grip and damping.

• Pioneer of the radial revolution: the Albert was the first MTB tyre that Schwalbe introduced with a radial carcass, completely rethinking how a mountain bike tyre interacts with the trail
• Superior ground contact: the radial carcass conforms to the trail surface like no previous design, increasing the contact area and better supporting the knobs for a more planted, connected feel
• Tread and carcass as one: the tread pattern and carcass are engineered to work together as a single unit, delivering more grip, more damping and more safety in every situation
• Ultra Soft compound: the softer mix for maximum grip and even greater damping, designed for the toughest trail challenges where traction is the absolute priority
• Mix and match: combine Albert Soft on the rear and Ultra Soft on the front to tune your setup precisely - both compounds perform in winter conditions
• Gravity Pro construction: the most robust casing in the Albert range, with an additional casing layer for extra stability and enhanced puncture protection - ideal for heavier bikes or more aggressive riding
• APEX puncture protection: additional fabric reinforcement at the tread base delivers maximum resistance against cuts and punctures on sharp and rocky terrain
• Radial technology explained: carcass threads woven at a shallower angle allow the tyre to conform more precisely at specific points of contact, increasing the contact patch and translating directly into more grip, more cushioning and more safety
