The all new Skelta wheelset is one of the most durable in Mountain Biking and is built using 6069 T6 heat-treated aluminium with an invisible seamless welded joint for added security. The Skelta rim features a shot-peened surface which provides increased corrosion and fatigue resistance, as well as a uniform matt finish. After more than a year of heavy testing we’ve developed the rim design to offer an even stronger wheel without excessive weight. Skelta’s enhanced 30 mm internal width, offers a confidence inspiring hooked rim profile for added control and tyre security and is compatible with all types of tyres, tubeless or not. We have optimised the width for tyre sizes from 2.25” - 2.8”, making them compatible with lightweight XC tyres for ripping local trails, through to heavy casing DH tyres for the gnarliest conditions. At the centre of the Skelta MT-SS is the MantraDrive 750 Boost MTSS 12 x 148mm rear hub. Aimed at the emerging “Slopeduro” market and single-speed conversions. Features a 72mm flange-to-centre width for unmatched wheel strength and perfectly balanced tension. Compatible with Pinion gearboxes for ultimate versatility. #BuiltForTheTrail
