Constructed of 6061 aluminium with a reinforced spoke bed and eyeletted spoke holes for strength, the Crest S2 rim is built to last. The wheelset also features fast-engaging E-sync hubs built to handle the added weight and forces of eBikes and more aggressive riders. Thanks to cromoly axles, heat treated steel ratchet rings, double row Enduro bearings, and a pawl design that reduces stress on bearings, E-sync hubs are made to roll smoother longer. The E-sync's four pawls also provide quick 8.18 of engagement. S2 wheelsets with E-sync hubs are perfect for anyone looking for low maintenance and high performance. Like all Stan's wheels, the Crest S2 carries on a tradition of serviceability by using traditional J-bend spokes that are readily available. To make life even easier, matched Crest S2 wheelsets all use a single spoke length and their endcaps are readily available and compatible with previous Neo hubs.
