Essential part with defects
"I’ve had my pump for a long time but the check valve failed. The replacement part is poor quality, gently tighten in to place with a hex wrench and it just slips back a thread. I took it apart twice but it just leaks air. Maybe some sealant may help but shouldn’t be needed. Probably easier to buy a new pump"
