This headset uses 1 ½” tapered bearings, however it uses an 1 ¼” lower race to fit the Kinesis RTD’s narrow fork steerer. This headset offers a solution to anyone needing to fit an 1 ¼” tapered fork, such as a Lauf Grit, to one of our Kinesis frames.

The lower headset race is also available as a spare.
