The eGlide is a premium e-bike chain compatible with SHIMANO LINKGLIDE technology, which sets a new standard for smooth and reliable shifting. KMC developed a chain that fully supports these characteristics while meeting the high demands for use on modern e-bikes. The patented Shield-Tech riveting and large-dimension, reinforced rivets provide superior strength that can withstand high lateral shear forces.
Used for Shimano CUES 9 to 11 speed E-Bike systems, this chain delivers a smooth and decisive shifting performance no matter what. Designed with a special plate technology for wider cog teeth that reinforces the efficient shifting.
EPT Coating
The environmentally friendly EcoProTeQ technology (EPT) from KMC protects chains against corrosion for twice as long as conventional rust protection, setting a new standard. Each component of every chain link is treated separately with EPT. This means a 100% coating that offers the lowest possible attack by water, salt, and air humidity.
Another characteristic of EPT: The very smooth surface gives chains excellent running qualities. Dirt buildup is minimised in the long term, which means that chain maintenance is significantly relieved.
