When Prologo decided to enter the E-Bike market, the specifics of the saddle were not just passing thoughts. They launched a design challenge at the Politecnico University of Milan - The biggest design college in Italy. This 360deg project started by an in-depth market analysis to get to know the sector, the target and the competition. All that information and data was spun together to create the best product that Prologo can offer the E-Bike market - The Proxim saddle.
The Prologo Proxim W850 introduces a new revolutionary technology, the Multi-Sector System: three different individual zones mapped and separated from each other along the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and single-cell pads. These areas work independently of each other and adapt to all positions for the cyclist, keeping you comfortable on rides for longer durations. Designed as a unisex saddle, it is equally suitable for men and women.
The **PAS system** is a channel in the base of the saddle. The hole or channel helps to maximises blood flow and supports the pelvic area while also preventing pressure peaks. This system is designed and developed to eliminate pressure and numbness to areas that need it most.
The Proxim saddle uses a **Nack rail** which is a monocoque carbon structure. Prologo's R&D department has engineered the clamping area by using a specific nano carbon fibre technology named BRC (Braided Carbon Rail) in order to support an extremely high level of stress when the seat clamp is tightened. The Nack rail is Prologo's top level rail combining unbeatable stiffness with extraordinary lightness
