- Upgraded to 170 TPI casing vs. 120 TP - 12-15% weight reduction on the previous clincher and a 2% reduction in rolling resistance
- New ZK anti puncture layer vs. K2, a liquid crystal polymer fiber gives a 7% increase in puncture resistance
- Revised tread pattern - Finely textured casing improves dry traction, with a new shoulder design enhances wet cornering grip
