- The max umbrella design has been optimized to improve air flow between the frame and wheel by reducing the gaps to a minimum

- Built around a Dura-Ace track hub with a modified hexagonal flange that aids power transfer to the wheel, increasing durability and strength
- The hub uses angular contact bearings designed to cradle the balls giving both radial and lateral support for superior strength, durability and smooth running
