- The Performance Nitrate Shot delivers 500mg nitrates in a 60ml shot, sourced from Rhubarb Juice Concentrate and Amaranthus Leaf Extract
- These unique sources of nitrates provide a superior taste profile and deliver a higher nitrate dose compared to anything else on the market
- Drink 1-2 Performance Nitrate Shots per day as part of a nitrate loading protocol in the 1-3 days prior to an event, where the aim is to consume 1g total nitrates per day on these days
- Performance Nitrate Shots can also be used as a pre-event shot, taken 2-3 hours before the start time
- Nitrate ingestion upwards of 800-1000mg per day for 3-7 days may see increases in muscle and plasma nitrate content, enhanced mitochondrial efficiency and improvements in time trial and time to exhaustion exercise performance, during cycling and running
- The enhanced performance is likely due to a reduction in the oxygen cost of exercise, i.e. the individual becoming more efficient at a given running speed or power output
