Designed as an XTR PD-M985 pedal cleat. The SM-SH-56 features a multi release, meaning you can disengage from the pedal by rotating your foot in either direction. These will also release if you sufficiently pull hard with an upward force, reducing the risk of toppling over when clipped into the pedal.
