This chain whip tool is suitable for the assembly of cassettes on the hub body.
Furthermore, HD and XD cassettes can be disassembled from the freehub body (with the help of the appropriate lock-ring puller).
Use:
- Place the chain of the chain-whip tool on the larger sprocket teeth according to the desired direction of required rotation.
- Insert the required cassette lock-ring puller or freehub removal wrench tool.
- Firmly hold the chain-whip handle to secure the cassette body while you loosen the lock ring (HD and ED cassettes) or turn the central part in the freewheel to unscrew the freewheel type cassette from the hub.

This tool is suitable for assembling and disassembling bolt on cassettes. Furthermore, HD and ED cassettes can be disassembled from the hub rotor (with the help of the appropriate puller).

- Suitable for 1/2" x 3/32" (2mm) for 8x cassettes
