In 1994, Frank Böckmann, Maurizio D'Alberto and Marco Zingg founded the innovative new company DT Swiss AG following a management buyout from a Swiss Biel-based wire works whose roots went all the way back to the 15th century. Beginning with manufacturing of spokes DT has been driven by the vision of becoming a world renowned manufacturer of bicycle components. Since 1994 DT Swiss has expanded its product range over the years and today DT Swiss has established itself as a leading manufacturer of spokes, nipples, hubs, rims, complete wheels as well as suspension systems.
