Not fit for purpose/useless

"This 'tool' does not do what it is claimed to do and is an absolute rip off. I initially ordered here, hence why I'm able to leave this review, but my order didn't show and ended up sourcing elsewhere. I'm still going to leave my review here though so that others don't waste their time and money. It is a piece of cast steel, nothing more. There is no finishing/refinement to the 'cutting' teeth, they are blunt as they came out the casting and can barely get through paint. It does not cut, it rubs paint off through friction. I knew by looking at it that it wasn't going to be worth it's weight in scrap, but I gave it ago anyway for a laugh. I spent 15 minutes on my fork and didn't get through the paint, waste of my time. It is actually sickening that this paperweight costs so much. Unfortunately I believed what was said in the only other review, do yourself a favour and give your £20/£30 to a bike shop and have them do it properly with the proper tooling."

Good addition to your tool

"Good addition to your tool kit. It provides a good surface for the caliper to sit on. Keep your allen key in the bolt as you turn the tool. This keeps the tool at the setting you want as you turn it, otherwise it tightens down as you turn the tool and can take too much off. Once you've got the knack of it it's brilliant."
