This lock nut unit is designed for the WH-R501 rear wheel, but it can also be used on the following:

- Shimano WH-R501-30-R
- Shimano WH-RS010-R
- Shimano WH-RS100-CL-R
These are classed as an "A" match.
If this lock nut unit is unavailable, you can also use the unit from the Shimano WH-RS11-R wheel. This is classed as a "B" match.
"A" match: indicates that the parts are the same (material, finish, size & appearance).
"B" match: indicates that the parts are usable, but may be different (materials, finish, size & appearance).
