Description

The Skate/BMX helmet was launched back in 1998, and is an absolute classic that served as a template for many others to follow. This regular shaped half-shell lid became famous in 1999 when it protected skateboard legend Tony Hawk from a serious injury while attempting a full loop. The injected colour line is manufactured with a less elaborated colouring process allowing us to offer it at a lower price range.

Fit tip Most TSG open helmets come with two thicknesses of pads, so if you fall between sizes choose the smaller one and fit the thinner pads.

How to measure

Wrap a soft tape measure around your head, starting at the middle of your forehead and keeping it level just above your ears, and read off the circumference in cm. TSG sizes each helmet model separately, so find the table for the model you are buying and pick the row your measurement sits in. Most TSG open helmets come with two thicknesses of pads, so if you fall between sizes choose the smaller one and fit the thinner pads. Full-face helmets should grip the cheeks firmly when new.
