"Decent lock. However, ironically, the highly-detailed bracket fitting instructions actually make it sound more difficult than it needs to be to fit the thing! And if you're fitting on a thin tube, the metal bracket is just a little further away from the screw in the mount, which can then be infuriatingly difficult to get to engage! But that's a one-off fitting thing. Actually, I fitted these locks to four bikes and only one proved problematic. The other minor thing is that the mount doesn't hold the cable too, so this has to be put elsewhere to transport, like round the handlebars. The lock arrives with the loops around the U-lock itself, so it looks like it can be transported that way, but can't. And it's a bit rattly when cycling, but I'll get used to that. On three of the four bikes, the lock was too big to fit inside the triangle of the frame, so I ended up fixing it to the diagonal tube down to the back wheel, which actually seems to work OK. (The packaging shows this as an acceptable location for the lock, but the instructions don't list it as a recommended location.)"
