- Bite valve closes automatically when you let it go and stops unwanted dribbles of fluid from the drink system when not in use
- Remove the valve and silicone straw to clean; flush with clean warm water to maintain hygeine and resist the build up of any bacteria attracted by sports or sugary drink mixes
